All of us know that there is a big difference between being young mum and being an older mum. A young mum there is a great instance that their pregnancy is out of wedlock and is unplanned. While the older mum they planned everything, they planned to have a career first then after is having a baby. However getting pregnant at an older age, the doctors says you may encounter problems biologically, since the bodies, unfortunately, are not adapting so fast to the new standards and fertility still peaks when you are much younger, and other experts says that a healthy woman can easily become pregnant at around 35-40, and that there are many advantages to “being an older mum.”

Older moms are often more patient and they seem to be really good at enjoying their kids. Older parents are often more financially secure than younger parents are and are better able to provide for their children financially. Older moms are great role models. The older you get, the more comfortable and the more confident you are as a person. That makes an older mum a great model to everyone especially to the younger ones.

When your baby, who nurses well before but refuses to nurse immediately, do not worry. Do not think about starting supplementary food or not to increase the amount while thinking about your baby has weaned. The baby whose time is to wean, will not stop sucking immediately. Also you should remember that a baby, who got the taste of nursing, can stop breastfeeding only by the serious efforts of their mums. This attitude of your baby is quite possibly temporary. However, you should try to find why your baby refuses to nurse.

What if Your Baby Refuses to Nurse?

The points you should care about:

• First you should care whether your baby is sick or not.

• If your baby has ear inflammation, if there is a small cut or aphtha in his mouth or nasal congestion,

• If his gingiva seems bulky and turns red in color because of teething,

• He might be scared if you responded a bit harshly when he had bit your nipple while nursing,

• If you start to use a new deodorant or perfume, he can dislike the smell of it,

• Or if you are in too much stress, all these factor could influence the effectiveness of your nursing.

Even you have not given birth yet, you might feel bored and become more impatient. Since the enzymes from your body is in the cycle of our baby, the bags in males and labium in females look bigger than normal. Even breast milk can come after giving birth. It can be observed both in male and female babies and disappears in a few days naturally. This week may seem to last too long for you. You should try to be more patient. Even if you have not already felt a pain your mouth of uterus could be opening gradually. By the starting of normal travails, the openness and thinness in the mouth of uterus begin to increase. When the gap is 10 cm wide, the first stage of your birth has been completed. Afterwards, there will be second stage experienced and your baby welcomes you and the world. In the vaginal birth, your physician wipes off your baby’s mouth and his/her first scream is echoed inside the room. At that stage, giving baby to your lap without just cutting the cord provides the first touch to be more warm and sensitive.
